
Tehila Gado, PhD student in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the Hebrew University.
She is writing her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Michal Frenkel on the topic of religious violence: using religion as a tool for violence between ultra-Orthodox spouses. Researcher at the Israel Democracy Institute in the Ultra-Orthodox in Israel Program. Her research focuses on the Haredi community in Israel, processes of change in the community, and the interface between religion and culture. She lectures in the Department of Education and Society at Ono Academic College, and teaches Talmud for women at Herzog College.
