Ohad Cohen (37), married to Noam and together they raise Ori (7) and Yuval (5) in Pardes Hanna, is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the Hebrew University. In his study, which he writes under the joint supervise of PhD Yael Berdah and Prof. Nissim Leon, Ohad seeks to address the question of the electoral alliance between the Likud and the Mizrahim Jewish in Israel, while conducting a phenomenological study of the views of Likud's Mizrahi supporters. Note that, Ohad arrive to the research field after a decade of serving as a media advisor and as a speechwriter for several politicians from the Right parties, mainly in the Likud, when even today, in parallel with his doctorate, he serves as an external media advisor for public organizations.

He completed his bachelor's and master's degrees with Summa Cum Laude in the departments of Political Science, Sociology and Anthropology at the Hebrew University, and after five years outside the Academic field, he came back to complete his Master thesis and began his doctorate studies. In his master's work, which he wrote under the supervising of PhD Yael Berdah, he focused on the connection between the political theories of Mizrahi political leaders and the political strategies they implemented in the period between the Political Upheaval of 1977  and the  Political Upheaval of 1992.
