Maya Kreiner is a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is a Research Fellow at the Avraham Harman Institute of Contemporary Jewry and the Leibniz Institute for Jewish History and Culture – Simon Dubnow (DI), Leipzig. Her doctoral project, supervised by Prof. Yfaat Weiss, examines constitutional knowledge transfers from the British Empire to Mandatory Palestine within discussions on self-government. She is a graduate of the Amirim Interdisciplinary BA Honors Program in the Humanities, and the MA Honors Program of the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School for Advanced Studies in the Humanities.
