Hadas Chen-Sabar is a Research fellow at The Avraham Harman Institute of Contemporary Jewry. She graduated summa cum in The Department of Jewish History at Ben-Gurion University. Chen-sabar's master's thesis, written under the guidance of Prof. Hana Yablonka, deals with several key aspects of the perception of Prof. Israel Gutman, one of the founders of Holocaust research in Israel. The thesis earned Chen-Sabar “The Israel Gutman Award” for Holocaust research, and as well “The Bela Zarchi memorial Award” for the best thesis on behalf Ghetto Fighters' House. In her PhD dissertation, Chen-Sabar seeks to devote a comprehensive historiographical study dealing with the study of the Holocaust in Israel with the aim of standing on the trend of the development of Zionist historiographical research. The key figures at the center of this study are Prof. Israel Gutman and Prof. Yehuda Bauer, who are seen in historical research as figures who laid the foundation for the study of the Holocaust. The advisors accompanying her writing are Prof. Amos Goldberg, and Prof. Amnon Raz Karkotskin.  Chen-Sabar serves as a teaching fellow at Sapir College and served as a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University.
