From its inception, the Oral History Division’s interviews were catalogized in order to allow full access to archive materials. The OHD meets the highest academic, national and international standards and contains bibliographic information on all existing projects.

A search in the catalog can be based on the name of the interviewer; the name of the interviewee; the number of the interview; the name or number of the project or by using detailed keywords.

The archives of the OHD are presently being digitized in collaboration with the National Library. To locate materials from the collection, an initial search can be conducted in the OHD catalog.

 

How to search in the catalog:

 

Step 1: In order to locate materials from the division's collections, an initial search can be made in the division's catalog.

Step 2: After locating the relevant materials, it is recommended to check their digital availability in the National Library of Israel catalog. In order to refine the search, it is recommended to add the abbreviation OHD in the search field.

Step 3: If the relevant materials are not available digitally on the National Library of Israel website, contact the section by email ohd@savion.huji.ac.il in order to coordinate a visit to review the materials.
